I doubt the Linux driver can be used in Windows
there's a chance your touchpad might need/work better/be compatible with the Synaptiks driver (I think that's the spelling) Check in Windows Device Manager to see what you can learn about the touchpad hardware.
also, try google synaptek touchpad driver
it comes with a little control panel item once installed to adjust/tweak characteristics of the pad.
