When Kodi is installed on my LMDE version 6, it works great. However, after watching a video or listening to an audio file, the hard drive should eventually turn off until it is needed again. Mint will do that for other hard drives that are connected to the computer. However, the hard drive that is being used by Kodi is always on, never shutting down to power-save (and thus save wear and tear on the motor and read head). How may I set the hard drive to stop spinning a few minutes after Kodi is not serving any media?
