I have a sound card a AE-5 plus so in my audio setting i have 6 output options and 3 input options. Every time i log off it defaults my audio settings to the wrong ones so then I have to change them to the write ones. Then i have to go into alsamixer chose my sound card and set it back to headphones from speakers so i can have audio. I really hope there is a way to change that so I dont have to go thew this every time. Please help if you can thanks for reading this.

Are you using PulseAudio? Use pavucontrol and use the default icons on the right side.

i downloaded so do i just turn off the audio devices that i dont use so the only one I use is avalibel?

No, the rightmost icon should be a kind of green check mark ✔️, select the default output or input

ok so i want the green cheek to have a grey box around it or a whit background the green check says set as fall back

As far as Pulseaudio devices are concerned "default" and "fallback" are synonyms.
