I installed chrome(.deb) through their site but it seems like something went wrong and the chrome logo doesn't appear in the taskbar nor the start menu. What can I do to resolve this issue?

The browser works fine btw

you sure? the problem seems to be a bit complicated than that. (cause the logo isn't appearing in the taskbar as well)
