My file manager randomly said that it needed sudo permission to fix my thumbnail cache today, but when I pressed the button and typed in my password, it wasn't doing anything, so I rebooted and was left with: [ 1.434791] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\ SB.PCI0.GP17.U no mater how many times I try to boot now

i managed to boot to busybox, run fsck, and that fixed it
