Current Situation
In my opinion, the official server currently lacks specialized forums for Sales, Purchases, and Estimates, leading to a disorganized system. Additionally, the lack of a message regulation system in these forums affects their effectiveness and organization. Acknowledging the positive impact of my suggestion in the French section, I restate it here to extend it to all language sections of the Discord.
Proposed Improvements
I suggest the creation of new specialized forums with tags to facilitate navigation. Furthermore, the introduction of a Discord bot would be essential to regulate messages and manage forums.
1️⃣ ・Sales, Purchases, and Estimates Forum: For these forums, tags would be used to categorize items according to their specifics. For example, we could use the following tags:
\-  for all eq from levels 1 to 90,
\- , , ,  for champion eq +10 to +48 with Sword, Archer, Mage and Martial Artist classes,
\- , , ,  for champion eq +53 to +60 with Sword, Archer, Mage and Martial Artist classes,
\- , , ,  for champion eq +65 to +80 with Sword, Archer, Mage and Martial Artist classes,
\- , , ,  for SP with Sword, Archer, Mage and Martial Artist classes,
\-  for other uncategorized items.
It is important to note that the limit of authorized tags is 20. With my system, I have already used 18 of the 20 available tags.
2️⃣ ・Introduction of a Discord Bot: This bot would serve to regulate the messages posted in certain forums. After a member has posted a message in a forum, the bot would send them a private message indicating:
"You have just sent a message in [forum name]. You have 5 minutes left to post a complement to your message if you wish. After this time, you will no longer be able to send a message in this channel for a period of 48 hours."
Similarly, to regulate the creation of topics, the bot would prevent members from creating a new topic more than once every 96 hours. Each time a member creates a new topic, they would receive a private message indicating:
"Your new topic has been successfully created in [forum name]. Please note that you will not be able to create a new topic in this same forum for a period of 96 hours."
Additionally, if a member tries to create a new topic before the 96-hour limit, their post will be automatically deleted, and they will receive another message indicating:
"Your attempt to create a new topic has been canceled. Please note that you must respect the 96-hour period before you can create another topic in this forum."
It is important to note that the native limit of Discord to disable the "New Post" button is limited to 6 hours, and it is not possible to increase it beyond that, even with the use of a bot.
Aim
The aim is to optimize the efficiency of our forums by making them more organized and facilitating the search for information. The introduction of a Discord bot would prevent spam, maintain a balanced publication pace, and prevent members from excessively creating new topics.
Ultimately, it is up to the community and server administrators to refine and decide on the final implementation.
