Device: iPad Pro (9.7-inch), iOS 16.7.10
Level/s: Every level, but now stuck on Elder Yolotoli
Population: No idea
Reason: It was crashing randomly at every level. But I haven’t been able to start this level at all. It crashes either when I try to load the level or as soon as I try to click on anything.
Frequency: As soon as I try to open the level.

I know my iPad is old and I can’t afford another one right now. Before the newest updates it wasn’t crashing this much. And I really want to continue playing. It’s the only reason I even have apple arcade.

Check the crash logs and see if your cpu is using too much power

#

iOS forces an app to crash whenever it’s getting too heavy

Where can I find the crash logs on an ipad?

My iPhone uses Portuguese so the names may not be 100% accurate.
• Go to Security and Privacy
• Scroll down and select Analysis and Upgrades (Above apple publicity)
• Select the second option, Analysis Data

In there you’ll see all crash logs from apps and from the iOS itself, check the ones that start with Outlanders and have cpu in it

I checked and it says it uses 57% CPU average, exceeding limit of 50% cpu over 180 seconds. What can I do with that data?

#

Outlanders 2 gives 52% cpu btw

I’ve had this happen with mine, albeit only in rare occasions and I’m using one of the new iPhones models

#

On that subject, it seems your iPad is just too weak, I’m afraid

#

Especially since the game is quite graphically heavy, it’d draw more resources on a bigger screen

#

Let’s see how this issue is dealt with in future patches

It worked ok enough though until the last few weeks. So yeah hopefully updates will help.. I could play on my newer iphone, but the screen is too small. I prefer a bigger screen for sure. Oh maybe my mac!
