Hi, I am stuck on level 17. No kids are getting born and everyone is dying of old age. What can I do?

you could try this: pause immediately, use 22 logs immediately for tree nursery and then 9 logs for sawmill. set up tree logging area, then pllace farm in upper right and to half lettuce half tomatoes. that should get you food stable and after that you can continue using logs as you get then for planks. I didnt bother with a tavern and only used two farms (one all wheat one half lettuce/ tomatoes at first then i switch to all tomatoes.)
