Because of frequent crashes on maxed out sandbox worlds my follower count keeps dropping very quickly because the game crashes and my followers die

Hey, we were discussing it with the team and came to the conclusion that your follower count may not be actually dropping. We believe that maybe when it crashes and you reload the game you see the notification of dead followers, but you don't realise that you actually started the day with more followers, so it balances out. Could this be the case? What happens when the game crashes (or if you close it) in the middle of the day, when you reopen it, it will load the last save which is most likely durnig the night. So, for example, if you have 100 followers, at the beginning of the day 4 of them die (so your population drops to 96), after that your game crashes (or you close the game) during the middle of the day, when you reopen it, it loads the night before (with 100 followers, not with 96), and you see again how some followers die (might be more or less than 4).

But only like 1-2 followers are really dying during each day
And tons of people die each time it crashes
It doesn’t seem to happen I load the game up after I close it purposely
