TK tried to take away BV's meth to cure their addiction, but it didn't work since they're still addicted to it. So TK has to defeat BV's addiction by entering their dreams and confronting Lost Kin, BV's drug addiction manifested. And after TK beats the manifestation of BV's drug addiction, BV and TK reconcile and they're wordlessly accepted back as a part of the family. Hollow Knight is truly one of the games of all time 🙏
