Hello :]

river lark
#

Domain is just all the points where function is well defined
i.e. no division by 0, log(0), log(-3), sqrt(-1), etc

Can you see where is this function undefined?
when you find all points where its undefined, remove them from set of real numbers, and you will get domain

#

is it understandable? if not, you can tell

@dapper tangle if you still need helpa in simpler terms, the domain is all values of x that can input that would give out a real y value.

#

For your question, it can be factorised into (x+3)/(x+3)(x-4)

#

which simplifies to 1/x-4

#

therefore the domain of x is simply x is not equals to 4

#

as all other values would produce a valid y value
