Hey @sweet compass, Thanks for sharing your math problem with us. While you wait for a Helper to help you, we want to share some vital information with you.

It's always very useful if you can show us the work you've done so far. This makes it easier for our Helpers to find mistakes and help you get to the right answer.
Sin is positive in 2nd quadrant and negative in the third
And if they give you the range, it just means they want one answer
Or like less no.of answers
So just find the values in third quadrant only
They didn't give q1 because you cant get an answer there anyway, and they may have not given q4 because they just wanted one answer
Was that what he meant🤔
?
Well since they've mentioned only second and third quadrant
And they've given a negative sin value
That only applies to the third quadrant
But i think he didn't ask that
He was like smth confused about quadrant thing
But i didn't understand what he meant
Yea they asked why would they mention specific quadrants and why that would change the answer
Gonna start English classes soon to make english better
The first quadrant doesnt matter anyway, and perhaps they require just one answer, so they excluded the fourth quadrant
I think they mentioned the second quadrant to confuse them into writing two answers when there's only one lol
What is ur native language
It's hindi
I speak like 4 language but only perfect in 1
And that 1 language is not any official language
Lets continue this chat in off topic, this is a math chat
Okay
Hello
uh
@drifting wren @fading saffron what does that mean? like, how would i even begin to solve this question
inverse sine? inverse cos?
Are you available in an hour or so? I can call and pull up some paper and just explain the quadrants and why it'll matter
Can i ask another question, a tiny bit unrelated to the current math question but still ontopic
Oh wait, there seems to be a video on it, ill watch that, but ill also still share the question
Alright
the main important question is the question i made this post for
I think ill watch this video, if i still dont get it, ill ask you for help
yes
Wanna join the study vc room
No perms oof
general works
Sure
im in general vc
There's no inverse thing here lol
Wrote 5 lines of solution and then saw ur solving through vc
@fading saffron can you send a photo of the example question
A trigonometry introduction, overview and review including trig functions, cartesian quadrants, angle measurement in degrees and radians, the Unit Circle and the Pythagorean Theorem.
2026 update: This was my first video and I thought I could do a better job now, so here is a "better" version: https://youtu.be/y4MiAOm5quk
Also: I have posted a ...
It explains the same thing
But better
I have a very quick question
can we vc for that?
if your on?
Sure
what about this
