pls im so desperate
Do you remember the general solution of sin(x) = a?
I mean the general solution, not jsut x = arcsin(a).
The general solution of sin(x) = a is:
x = arcsin(a) + 2ฯn, n โ โค
x = ฯ - arcsin(a) + 2ฯm, m โ โค
I recommend reviewing the general solutions of elementary trigonometric equations if you don't remember them.
๐what the helly
What?
guys i dont rmemebr my teacher doing arcsin and all tht tho
like i dont think we even learnt that
but he told us fhat we should be able to do these anyways
so im like confused
But you just said you did.
Second, why are you saying "chat"? At the moment we're the only two ones here...
Uh, ok...
โค is the set of integers, as usual.
Those are parameters of the solution. After all, any elementary trigonometric equation has infinitely many solutions (if it has any at all).
You should really review the topic again, to be honest.
๐how
Read the respective chapter in your textbook, try solving some elementary equations.
okay sigma but is question ten even doable its not even equal to anything ive never sene a question like that
Well, if you take y = x/2, then it's an elementary trigonometric equation.
So, you can find y, then you can find x = 2y, and then find the solutions belonging to the given interval.
ok sigma
