Hi. I have an oral exam in mathematics tomorrow, on the topic of spatial geometry. I will start with a four-sided pyramid and use vector calculations to compute surface area, volume, etc. Does anyone have tips for other elements I can include to demonstrate as much competence as possible?

  1. Do not ping the Moderators, unless someone is breaking the rules.
  2. Do not ping the Helper Moderators, unless there is a conflict between helpers.
  3. Do not ping other members randomly for help.
  4. Ask your question and show the work you've done so far. If you've posted a screenshot of a question, specify which part you need help with.
  5. Wait patiently for a helper to come along.
  6. If the Helper has answered your question, remember to thank them with the Mathematics Ranks bot and close the thread with:

Explore and understand the rules of arithmetic for vectors in space, and use vectors to calculate various quantities in space.

I have modeled the Khufu pyramid and added points such as 'burial chamber' and 'door' to get some points I can use to create examples with vectors, but I'm kind of stuck there.

Yes, that was kinda my plan. However, my presentation has to be 10 minutes long, followed up by an oral examination by two teachers. Is there anything more to speak abt? Is it relevant to speak abt the distance between a tomb chamber and a door for example?
