Why and when I need to multiply at the end

I am practicing with derivatives and I dont get it when I need to multiply at the end. Like in the picture I multiply whit (2x)' . Why and when i need to do this. Because I cant find any info in this.

e^(2x) is a composite function, so you need to use the chain rule to differentiate it.
