If together, Milo and Erna can clean their house windows in 1 hour and 36 minutes. If working alone, Milo can complete the same task 1 ¼ hours longer than Erna. Determine the time each of them needs to complete the task individually!

Is it correct if I found the answers to be
Milo : 3 hrs 56 minutes
Erna : 2 hrs 41 minutes

Yeah, looks good. Though, better not to round just the roots - round the whole thing.
We get x = (39 + √(4721))/40 ≈ 2 h 42 min and y = x + 5/4 = (89 + √(4721))/40 ≈ 3 h 57 min.

If you want, you can rationally approximate the root by hand like this:
√(4721) = 68√(4721/68^2) = 68√(1 + 97/68^2) ≈ 68(1 + 97/(2*68^2)) = 9345/136
The error of the result would only be on the order of tenth of a second.
