Hey, I am taking a Numerical Linear Algebra course and can't quite understand this proof. I understand everything until the green mark. From then I don't understand how we can assume that it is less than using the 2-norm. Finally, Where does the m^3 come from in the end? Thanks in advance! (the proof is in Dutch)

Hey, so as it says in the sentence below, all matrix norms are equivalent thus you can say that
c||A||_a ≤ ||A||_b ≤ C||A||_a
Because we have Big O we can make it an upper bound.
The m most likely stands for the dimension of the matrix somehow??
I'm right now studying Numerical Linear Algebra myself so take everything I say with a pinch of salt. But if you want to connect and suffer through all of this together, feel free to hmu!
