Need help with this book

Unable to understand most of the topics ... what should i do to start with

i dont even know that of there are pre requisites for this book that i even meet.. like I've done the college math courses.. but idk this topic is new to me

I’m posting these chapters for future helpers to refer to. Idk much about this

While I don’t know the topic well, one study tip I recommend is searching thru the book for unfamiliar vocabulary. For example, idk what barycenter is, so I searched it up (u can highlight the word then use ctrl+f on computer)

noted.. i understood the 2.4.8 part but can't understand 2.4.9 so i skipped it and moved forward.. i wish to understand it..but I'll tackle it later on
