Finding the area of a circle (πr²) by placing equally distant points on the circle

btw here the area formula comes from finding the area of 1 sector and multiplying it by n, since there's an equal amount of sectors, points, and chords

I'm going to see if it works by instead using the area formula of a regular polygon but idk if that'll help
