I need to make a roller coaster using Desmond, it must be 250 units high and 300 units right. It has to be gravity functioning, it must have atleast 3 different functions either trig, normal cubics, quadratics etc, log, exponential, and others if u would like, the derivatives at intersections must be equal to each other. And the peak at one point must be 60% less than the last because energy is lost. Thanks if you can help and send the equations 🙏🙏

  1. Ask your question and show the work you've done so far. If you've posted a screenshot of a question, specify which part you need help with.
  2. Wait patiently for a helper to come along.
  3. Once someone helps you, say thank you and close the thread with:
    +close

  4. Feel free to nominate the person for helper of the week in #helper-nominations
  5. Do not ping the mods, unless someone is breaking the rules. If there is a conflict amongst multiple helpers feel free to ping “Helper Mod”
  6. If you're happy with the help you got here, and the server overall, you can contribute financially as well:

what we can do though is help you with any problems you have with your functions

These are my equations: they intersect, but the derivatives at the intersection is not the same. 40 cos (0.04x-12.5) +210

-0.001 (x - 84)3 + 169.045080453
I just need help to learn how to do it for the first two then I can do the rest. thanks

so, remove all your vertical and horiziontal transformations

#

thenf ind a point where the derivatives match

#

and translate that point over
