dialation is literally just adjusting the point by a scale factor
so with a dialation of $\alpha$, the coordinates would become $(-3\alpha,2\alpha)$

now u can just plug in values
wow
idk what that means og 🔥
?
look here
i am 😭
im just confused
is that an answer?
wait
i think I get it
ur just using the points
as a reference
but how does that have anything to do with 0.5
what is a scale factor
@placid garden
,help
A brief description and guide on how to use me was sent to your DMs!
Please use ,list to see a list of all my commands, and ,help cmd to get detailed help on a command!
?
0.5 is just the "dialation", i.e. how much the point will "shrink" or "grow"
yeah
so look at this and look at the dialations provided
i've practically given you the answer
cap
when u dont know shit abt math ur not practically doing anything
dilation is the abcd shit yeah?
these
yes
im trying to understand what u meant by shrink or grow
those are the dialated points
how tf can it shrink or grow
"grow", as in moves farther from the origin
"shrink", as in moves closer to the origin
for example, which would be closer to the origin, (-3,2) or (-6,4)?
-3,2
so is the higher number of scale factor closer or further from the origin?
oh u just said
?
wait
ye this is right
yes?
@placid garden
🥺
let me see
and please stop randomly pinging me.
you got it
yw
can u make sure my other answers are correct before I submit?
ive already finished them
just wanna make sure
okay
.-.
this is correct
this is correct
oh
#1 is incorrect
remember that AB is congruent to AC and thus makes the same angle as angle ABC
i had my friend "help me"
i thought she gave me the right answer.
im onto a quiz over parralelagrams now
okay
try to understand processes before actually solving them.
