i don’t know if this is much about forces
i would talk about inertia and newton’s first law
oh ok
what is inertia
the phenomenon that newton’s first law describes
aa ok
but why newton’s 1 law
newton's first law talks about inertia
theres not really a set reason why newton has three laws, or why newton's 1st law is not the law of acceleration, and etc
so the person actually wants to stay at rest, but when the person suddenly brakes the result would be that the person gets pushed forward?
and because the person doesn’t have a seatbelt on it will be pushed forward till it get stopped by some other forces?
@manic kayak
@eager wave
the person wants to continue moving forwards
when the car brakes, the person continues moving forwards
while the rest of the car stops
yes but the person sits still in the car, hence why it wants to stay at rest
but the person in the car is moving when the car is moving?
oh yess
my bad
so the person wants to be in a certain motion
so when the car suddenly brakes, we get pushed forward
and thats why we need seatbelt
so that another force can stop us
yes
thanks
would u say thats enough to write as an answer?
but what should i write on b
the person will move forward with a certain speed till it get stopped by the wall which would reduce the speed to 0
i think
@manic kayak
can you not ping me
yes i am sorry
but u can also just tell if you don’t have an answer
its fine
i don't know what your physics teacher wants
but i would say that this is correct
