I need help solving the system of equations given by $x^2-x-6<0$ and $x^2+3x-4\leq0$

I've reached until having $(x-3)(x+2)<0$ and $(x+4)(x-1)\leq0$

but i dont know how to reach the answer, which is $-2<x\leq1$

then take the slice (idk how its called in english), but its the interval which can be found in both of the answers
