i graphed in desmos and i get a function looking like this. So there are no solutions. now you gotta find a proof to why there is no solution then
maybe ill figure it out later but ye seems weird
maybe can try think of it into parts. starting with this equation. This equation can't have x = 1. So examine this for x > 1, what can you explain about the function?
next examine this for x < 1, what can you explain about the function?
and use this to generalize for that thick equation up top
