One of the questions given was to convert (3,-3) to polar and r came out to be 3√2 while theta was the inverse tangent of -1, the only 2 quadrants that can have a negative sin/cos would be quadrant II and quadrant IV, so the only 2 points would be either 3pi/4 or 7pi/4, how would you know which one would be the polar version of (3,-3)?
