Logarithmic and exponential equation

How do i go about solving this i was thinking log(x-1)(x-2)-12
but they said two equations do i just add a coefficient infront of log

Well, you can also make an exponential equation. And noone said you can't have other functions.

This is not an equation, just an expression.

Well, that doesn't have x = 1 and x = 2 as solutions...
