- Ask your question and show the work you've done so far. If you've posted a screenshot of a question, specify which part you need help with.
- Wait patiently for a helper to come along.
- Once someone helps you, say thank you and close the thread with:
+close - Feel free to nominate the person for helper of the week in #helper-nominations
- Do not ping the mods, unless someone is breaking the rules.
- If you're happy with the help you got here, and the server overall, you can contribute financially as well:
For the linear part, find slope, that will be your m. So, m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1). Pick any pair of coordinates. Next plug your m in and choose a random pair of x and y (e.g. 3, -72) and from that derive b. For the quadratic part, its easy, choose a pair again and plug it and solve for a. And for the exponential part, pick 2 pairs, plug them in and solve the system for a and b. You could just do division since exponents are gonna be 4 and 3 (first and second pair) so they will cancel out leaving only b.
@simple veldt
im 6'4 btw
missed the part where you need to check that all points satisfy (clearly, a linear does not work)
First, check whether the points lie on a line. If not, recall how the other two models can be linearized.
The corresponding angles in congruent shapes are equal.
so what is it
Well, what do you think?
