- If you're happy with the help you got here, and the server overall, you can contribute financially as well:
Represent the width of the rectangle by W
The length of the rectangle by L
And the total fencing by 450M
The fencing is used to enclose the rectangle and divide it into two sections focus on that part
The outer perimeter of a rectangle is composed of L and a W and I am sure you know that already, but since we will divide it into two sections. There is also an additional line of fencing that runs parallel to the width, which adds another segment equals to the width (W) to the total fencing required.
From there, you can surely form the equation by yourself
Yes you got it
That's correct
@serene moat you can surely do the rest by yourself? Right?
Of course it's not the full answer, I only gave you a tip
You get it from the equation that you formed
You need to get L from the equation you formed
And then knowing that the Area= LxW. You substitute L in the area equation with what you got and boom
Why do you need to get L from the equation
If you could just explain and give me the answers it would be very helpful
It's because you are going to substitute it in the Area equation (A= LxW) to get the full equation
And I can't give you the full answer, it's better for you to get it yourself. I can only give you hints and tips.

Well, did you get the answer?
yeah, from my Math teacher 😐
Well I guess you don't need this thread anymore
I will close it
