idk why my teacher would give this hard of homework when we barely been taught it
1st one chain rule
second one i guess implicit not sure
third one split using log properties
that’s the thing tho i don’t know how
1st one chain rule
do yo know how to chain rule
just asking
log properties include
ln(ab)=ln a + ln b
ln a^n=n * ln a
we started learning it today but haven’t finished yet
but the homework is due tomorrow at the beginning of class
Then the only option is i have to teach it
Ok i will try my best on chat
We will start with easiest of the three
The first one
Suppose i have a function sin (x²)
How do i differentiate it
Put x² as some z
Dy/dx i have to find
I can multiply divide by dz
So (dy/dz)*(dz/dx)
So d(sinz)/dz *d(x²)/dx
And at last put z is equal to x²
Did you understand
@half hollow for the first one you must know arcsec derivative and chain rule
Have you learned these?
he told he is still learning
See
Alright so the general formula is:
[f(g(x))]'=f'(g(x))•g'(x)
