what do u mean? It is because i have trouble doing the downwards slope. Upwards slopes r fine for me though. Idk why

Solve for m using m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
Or rise/run, comparing given points
Then substitute point (given) back into equation to solve for c
Basically equation is y=mx+c so first find gradient then substitute the values to find c. And now you have the equation of the line
Y equals gradient x plus c
same process for downwards/upwards
take the two points subtract
and then I would just add a negative sign off of inspection
