Do you have a list of circle theorems youve learned?
Yes I know the names of the theorems but not familliar withmost
What theorem can I use for each ques
Well lemme post a list of the mall
Which of them look similar to part 1?
Angles at the same segment
So X is 50°??
Ye
And y is 25°?
Indeed
Well whats the relaionship of the radius of circle O to circle A
Do you see how the diameter of O is the radius of A
So you automatically know circle A is exactly twice as big as circle O right
Yes
Do I have to draw the triangles
I mean its involved in the proof I guess
You can also do something along the lines of
Using the two exactly the same green triangles
You know they ahve the same angles by the angles in a semicircle theorem
These problems are all about using what you have and trying to come up with some silly way to morph your problem into something that you can use your tools to solve
OH SO BC AND CD ARE CONGRUENT
Indeed they are
I would apply the angles in a semicircle theorem and draw out those triangles
Idk how formal your teacher wants the proofs to be and honestly its been like 5 or 6 years since I took geometry so Im not sure how much I could help with that part
But the whole process of how to do it is there
Ye basically
Okay thanks omg
