you can do synthetic division
In algebra, synthetic division is a method for manually performing Euclidean division of polynomials, with less writing and fewer calculations than long division.
It is mostly taught for division by linear monic polynomials (known as Ruffini's rule), but the method can be generalized to division by any polynomial.
The advantages of synthetic div...
yeah i did it's a rational function
u hav learnt synthetic division?
Did you saw there is x^n
so? it's just a fixed integer
you just need to do polynomial division
or factorization of the dividend
Can you show me how is done?
you shld have learnt the factor theorem
in precalculus
I'm in grade 11
that means Form 5? factor theorem is part of secondary school's algebra syllabus
to do calculus, you're suppose to master basic algebra and geometry
I have other method to do but idk what I messed up so I want see your method
it's straightforward. you see a polynomial divided by another polynomial, then i compute the quotient directly by polynomial division.
synthetic division is the quickest method
🤯
you haven't even tried
Ok solve my problem with your method
i don't take orders
you can use synthetic division to carry out division directly
1 | 1 1 0 ... -2
| 1 2 ... 2
----------------
1 2 2 ... 0
the final '0' indicates that the remainder is 0
what's on the left of 0 is the quotient
Ok so what is the final response
you'll know if you've done the factorisation. taking limit of a polynomial should be easy.
i'm not doing your HW
Ok
I would have written $x^n+x^{n+1}-2=x^n-1+x^{n+1}-1$. With geometric series or identities we know the result of the division without having to perform it
