I'd rewrite sinx+cosx using ||a compound angle formula||
I recommend combining sine and cosine into a single sinusoid. Then you will be able to see where it's positive or negative and split the integral accordingly.

A sinusoid is a function of the form A sin(ax + b) or A cos(ax + b).
