I’m pretty sure by cumulative it means that you take 1% and add to whatever you have at the end of each month

So 2000 + 2020 = 4020 and then (1.01)(4020) would be your answer for month 2

Cumulative means what you have so far

Also if month 1 was 2020 then we have to add on interest afterward

Since before it would be 2000 + 0 +
0.01(0)
