are you trying to find the value of that

i assume the question is prove that log_a(b) = 1/log_b(a)

and this follows immediately by picking a certain value of x in the given equation

An equals sign is missing. Should be log(a, b) = 1/log(b, a).

As for how to prove it, just take x = b.
