at least with what I know now
a^2 + bx + c
2 numbers have to add to equal b and multiply yo give c
for example
x^2 + 5x + 4
the 2 numbers would be 4 and 1
x^2 + 4x + x + 4

Its because there are cases where that works for b being larger than c
such as x^2 +7x +6
yes, but it's better to think of it like i explained earlier
