You just approximate.
Take h² = 0
Then cancel out h from numerator and denominator. (Leaving 2x as numerator)
Then consider h to be 0 in denominator once again
you need to right it down cause i don't understand
Idk how you’d define it using definition of derivatives, but you could just use chain rule

Derivative: n•f(x)^(n-1)•f’(x), where f’(x) is the derivative of f(x)
