#Help figuring out net profit from the ratio

So I figured out everything besides the very end. I know 2x + 3y = 240, and x + y = 100. So she made 60 strawberry, and 40 raspberry, but only sold 24 of them. So the ratio is 5:2. I don't know how to solve the rest though. Any help is appreciated.

Start by writing an equation that represents all possible combinations of strawberry jam and raspberry jam that are in a 5:2 ratio.

#

Then, adjust that equation to account for the additional 16 jars of raspberry

#

Lastly, find the intersection between the equation you just wrote and 2x+3y=240.

#

Once you have the number of strawberry jams and raspberry jams that she is making, calculate the profit by subtracting cost from selling price (include the extra 16 jars of raspberry).

That's the thing I'm struggling with, I don't know how to write an equation that represents strawberry jam and raspberry jam in a 5:2 ratio unless I just have to manually count it up

Try plotting a few points of possible (5:2) combinations and see if you can find the equation

That helped a ton! I didn't even think about putting it on a graph, i was able to figure it out. Thank you so much!
