Hello I am trying to find the length of a parabola but having issues

#

so this is my equation right

#

which by substituting the -17x+204/200 i get

#

which I have verified to be true. done through hyperbolic substitution

#

however when I substitute my values in

#

the highlighted one is the derivitive, was just doing it to be sure. the derivitive of that is the -17x etc.

#

but Im confused as to why they are not equal

#

thanks

also when finding the length of a parabola isn't it just integrating? and I don't understand what and why you are substituting values

Ah my bad sorry

#

So basically

#

I want to find the length of the line of the arc itself

#

I forgot to send screenshots of how that initial function was made I'll dk to soon

#

You can get arc length using this ,which I can explain if needed

#

But I need to integrate that right
