I have tried a few substitutions...nothing seemingly works for me

is that rightmost exponential inside the log? if so, then the second integral is not so bad

u can actually 'transform the first integral in the second' through integration by parts, (or better said, the - integral on the result of integrating by parts is - (second integral))

so that solves the problem already cuz the integrals are going to cancel

and you're left with the first term from integrating by parts
