In the expression x=2i/2 2i/2 would be the imaginary part and 0 would be the real part right(asking because im not 100% sure if we can consider 2i OVER 2 as an imaginary part, as its technically being divided by 2)

is that repetition a typo?

#

u just need to write x in the form
x=a+bi
with a and b real numbers

#

then b=imaginary part of x

@heavy sealyeah but in this example here what would be the imaginary part and what would be the real part

#

thats my question

like i said, you just need to write x in the form
x=a+bi
with a and b real numbers, then b is the imaginary part

#

x = 2i/2 = 0 + (2/2)i = 0 + 1 * i

#

can you tell me now ?

hazy onyx
#

oh yeah you can just separate i from the 2i/2

#

bruh so obvious

#

1's the imaginary part and 0 is the real part
