Problem 2 is incorrect
Numbers not in the domain are the ones where the function is undefined. Since it's division, the bottom part cannot be 0
Ephesians 2:8-9
$2) \frac{3}{x^2 - 4} \ \ x^2 - 4 \neq 0 \ \ x^2 \neq 4 \ \ x \neq \pm 2$ \ \ So the answer is $-2$ \ \ \ $3) f(x) = x^2 + 1$ \ \ We have a continuous increasing function (on our domain range) , so it has higher value at higher $x$ value. In our case it will have its maximum value at $x = 3$ \ \ $f(3) = 3^2 + 1 = 10$
