yeah, it is fine since we can conclude that the RHS is divergent. The left one, which is obviously larger, must be divergent too

There are no limits of bounding. If it works, it works. A few things that we should concern are that if we have .....>convergent, we cannot conclude whether ... is convergent or divergent
