Isolate the variable by multiplying all three sides by the divisor and subtracting any added values.

You want to isolate m which means get rid of the 7.
You're adding the seven, so to undo that you want to subtract seven. You can't manipulate one side of an equation without doing the same to all other sides of it.
Therefore, subtract seven from the other sides. Now square root everything.
