guys how do we know that it’s not 3x+6 if x<=-3 and the second piece is not -x-6 if -3<x<=2 and the third piece isn’t x-10 if x>2

cuz it doesn't satisfy the criteria
for example for the first one is
x < -3 not x <= -3 without the equal
