hey ! couldn't find if someone had already asked this, but my issue is this:
I've placed several sprinklers, then tilled the ground around them
Next morning, the tilled ground is watered so I add fertiliser and seeds to the watered ground
Morning after, half my plants are sprouts and the others are still seeds, like they weren't watered the day before
Is this due to the plant type or is it because they weren't watered by me specifically? Or is it just a small technical issue that's being worked out?

so it went like tilled ground -> place sprinkler -> sleep -> ground watered by sprinkler -> place seeds + fertiliser -> sleep -> 1/4 of plants still seeds, other 3/4 are sprouts
ive played more since and this hasnt happened again, i think it might only pop up when the next day is a rainy one?

What’s probably happening is that when you place seeds/fertiliser in the sprinkler and go to sleep the process stops.
AUTO SFH works in order: seeds, fertiliser, water. And each morning it waters plants.
So I think between those steps you went to sleep and sprinkler stopped. That’s why crops are uneven

oh I'm not using the automated items you add to the sprinkler, im placing them myself if thats what youre talking about?

missed a step - the sprinklers watered the empty tilled plots first, then i planted the seeds

No worries. I’m just trying to figure out. Since sprinklers go off in the morning only. And whether it’s a bug.
Can you clarify when did you plant the seeds? (I assume fall 1) and what time of day?
And when did you place sprinklers? In the same day as seeds or before?

Yeah so I placed the sprinklers and tilled the ground on Summer 28, then planted seeds and fertiliser on Fall 1 in the day
so the sprinklers went off the morning of Fall 1, then i placed the seeds afterwards

Are all of those the same seeds? Like for example all of them pumpkin? And when you RMB over crops what does it say?
I think I made it more complicated, different crops take different time to grow. So I think it's that.
If different crops have different stages and time left it's all good. If they're the same - it's a bug

ahh no theyre different crops, in the image you can see the different coloured seeds
it must be different growth stages then, I wasn't aware some crops didn't immediately sprout the day after planting
thats why I was worried it was a bug, but if its just different growth times then thats my question answered !
