So I know when you are wandering around and see silhouettes in the water that are sparkling that is a guaranteed legendary (or coffer!)
But can you still get a legendary without that? Like if I am specifically going for a legendary (Great White in this case) do I just ignore all fish that don't sparkle? If sobI am in trouble cause I spent a whole day fishing and never saw a sparkle but also never got the great white so... oof

After the fishing system update in 1.2b legendary fish have the same spawn rate but now you actually see if they’re spawning by seeing large fish silhouette that sparkle.
You can just cast your fishing rod and wait for the sparkling silhouettes and then start actively fishing.

If you cast a line and don't pull do new fish actually appear? I thought you only ever got the like 5 that show up
