Can't progress healing the ocean

Reproduction Steps:
So I was clearing this section of the ocean (purple) and activated that first beacon and I swear I saw the vine disappear (image with 1), but when I came back the next in game day it was still there and I can't progress?? I've cleared all trash in the purple area twice now. All the paths to the un-activated beacons (red) are blocked. I have already activated the other beacons in this gold kelp area.

We checked your save file and it looks like the second solar orb hasn’t been activated yet. We found it in the spot shown in the image we shared.

Could you try activating it and let us know how it goes?
