tree planting festival, Big tree stump steps are buggy

Reproduction Steps: the big tree stump at the starting area for the tree planting festival (where the binoculars are), are glitching to where it's very hard to go up the steps.
Repro Rate : Every time I try to walk up and down the steps.
Game Platform: Steam

It does not affect the tree stump on the right side (the ones out of frame)

Or the ones to the left. Only affects the stairs in the middle

Ive only played recently with that outfit. though last time I played until I got a gamebreaking issue in 2024 and at that time I only wore normal outfits and it was fine.

Just to check, after entering the festival, did you immediately go to the area and experience the issue like in your video? Do you remember what you did right before that happened?

No, I entered the area and went around talking to people, when I had done everyone on the ground (I think, at most i had not done the guy by the shop) and then went to the steps in my video. After that I went to the other two steps and had no issues with those. Hope that helps :)

Do you remember what FPS you were getting when you entered the festival? Also, could you tell us the FPS limit you set in-game?

I have no clue. I haven't looked at the settings at all except for sound. I didn't have an fps counter on nor do I know what the default settings are in the game.

If it's unlimited by default then my monitors are set to 240-260 hz.😊

I can check tomorrow when I get up, what it's set to in my game currently.

My game is set to "no limit". I just turned on steams fps counter and in my house it shows 380 (up to 400, it fluctuates) but obviously it was not that since there were loads of people in the event area. But yeah, ≤ 380.

Do you think its an issue with too high fps? I played Uncharted Legacy of thieves a while ago and OH MY GOD I was struggling. Until My partner looked it up and set the fps limit to 30 or 60 (dont remember). I would constantly run into roadblocks and trying to get into certain places, the game just wouldn't let me. as if there was an invisible wall stopping me. When the fps was set, I had no issues at all.

We can’t confirm just yet whether this is directly related to having FPS set to unlimited. However, we’ve seen a similar issue where some players got stuck on stairs, and setting their FPS limit to 60 helped resolve it. We’re still investigating the connection, but it might be worth trying on your end as well.

In the meantime, could you share your full PC specs with us? That would really help us look into this more thoroughly.

Hello. I just wanted to confirm that its an issue with high fps. I am on year 2 and not wearing the outfit anymore, I had my fps set to 60 and I had no issues with the stairs. When I changed it to unlimited, I had the same issues with walking up the stairs as before. Not as severe but definitely noticeable.
I then changed it back to 60 again and the issue went away.
