Is Wohoo currently broken / not working?

i started a new game. i am now in year 4 i think, and married Alice. in the versions before you had a chance of wohoo happening. now since summer of year 2 i no longer get the cutsceene. the only indication that wohoo might have happen is that Alice spawns on my side of the bed in the morning, and basicly stands nose-to-nose with me ;)... not that i am complaining^^

its really not a big thing just thought id ask if it is a bug, or something in my game / save is borked.

Check if you have it toggled on/off in the settings

yeah its on. nothing changed there. and i mean yeah its random, but 2 years without the bonktrain running through town?! thats a bit wild on bad rng id say 😉

Yeah no mods, just pure vanilla coral island. Oh and i am at max hearts with her plus 2 kids.

You can copy-paste this into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames
Then look for the DailySave.sav file and share it with us 🙂

okay this should be the save. based on what my wife said, she can only trigger wohoo if sleeping "nacked" i.e. in vanilla underwear in bed with your partner.

Yes and also 2 gifts and both hangout possibilitys.

She was and still is the one i invest the most time in😳

Got it for the info! We checked your save file and were able to trigger the woohoo cutscene without needing to be nacked first, fortunately!

We skipped through days and slept repeatedly until it triggered, while also interacting with Alice daily. Since the woohoo event is based on probability, it can be a bit tricky to reproduce consistently 🥺

Could you try playing for a bit longer and let us know if you’re still unable to trigger it within a full in-game season? 🙂

mhhh...so its a me thing. good to know^^ i am currently in the middle of summer year 4 with that save and it did not trigger for me currently. but i can play more and see what happens

okay now i am at week 2 in fall of year 4. still nothing. the only sign of wohoo happening is that alice spawns on me the next day. the only thing i can try on my end is now to verify game files and hope that fixes it, or well start a new game. but for starting a new game i wait for the 1.3 update
